Prácticas docentes en la formación técnica y tecnológica de nivel superior universitario en Ecuador: un análisis desde el aula

Resumen
El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar las prácticas docentes en la formación técnica y tecnológica de nivel superior universitario en Ecuador, con el fin de identificar el grado de alineación entre el enfoque por competencias y la práctica educativa en el aula. La investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cualitativo, con un diseño no experimental de corte transversal y alcance exploratorio. Se utilizaron entrevistas en profundidad a cinco docentes y la observación de cinco clases, aplicando un análisis de contenido basado en una categoría central de estrategias de enseñanza. Los resultados evidencian que los docentes han incorporado metodologías como el aprendizaje basado en proyectos, la simulación y el uso de tecnologías educativas, lo que refleja avances hacia enfoques centrados en el desarrollo de competencias. No obstante, estas prácticas coexisten con estrategias tradicionales, como la clase magistral, lo que limita su implementación de manera integral. Asimismo, se identificaron desafíos en la enseñanza en línea, especialmente en la participación estudiantil y en la aplicación de metodologías activas. Se concluye que las prácticas docentes se encuentran en un proceso de transición, lo que requiere fortalecer la formación docente, la integración de metodologías activas y el desarrollo de estrategias de evaluación más personalizadas para consolidar el enfoque por competencias.
