La Investigación Cualitativa en las Ciencias Sociales, Una Aproximación Conceptual.

Abstract

The objective of this paper was to provide an approximation on the positioning of qualitative research in the field of social sciences. For this, a bibliographic inquiry was carried out on the authors' perspective compared to qualitative research, and the contrast with respect to quantitative research. Based on the literatura considered in this work, it was determined that the qualitative research position is lower than the quantitative one. The bias in the researcher defines his research paradigm, before which it was evidenced that the subjectivity of qualitative research. As well as, its exploratory nature affects not opting for this type of research.
