The purpose of this paper was to understand the general implications of tax management as a factor that enhances the quality of life of the population. For this, a documentary study was carried out, with a hermeneutic-phenomenological analysis. As a result, it was determined that tax management constitutes an administrative activity with various stages, with which the elevation of the population's quality of life can be achieved. It was concluded that correctly executed tax management has a directly proportional relationship with obtaining public resources, which could ensure a decent standard of living for the members of a country.
