Dear academic and scientific community
We present Volume 4, number 1, of the Sapientia Technological Magazine, digital version, corresponding to the period January-June 2023, where you will find five articles that analyzeaspects of interest about research, intellectual property, university-business links , biomechanical risk characterization, and in-depth analysis using artificial intelligence tools.
The topic of research is always exciting. This time it is about aspects that can favor the management of research in higher education institutions, as a means to fill gaps in knowledge, generate conceptual and empirical frameworks that provide solutions to the dynamic problems of contemporary human beings.
On the other hand, the subject of intellectual property is currently very relevant, and in one of the articles presented you will find the postulates of the Regulations of the Scientific Council or Universities of the Republic of Cuba, and the updating of the subject of science, technology and innovation in accordance with the importance of the uses of Industrial Property and Copyright for the country, and the professionalization of university professors.
The university-industry link is a key aspect for the execution of concrete tasks that allow the development of several activities that contribute to the integral formation of the engineering professional, besides guaranteeing agri-food sustainability, from the application of scientific knowledge, creativity and innovation, starting from their own formation, in a semi-attendance model and culminating in the practices of the subjects of the curriculum.
It is interesting to go into the identification of ergonomic risk, which will allow us to know how organizations can detect risk factors in different workplaces; it is known that the presence of this risk results in acute and chronic injuries that lead to the appearance of occupational diseases in workers in the administrative area of the Technological University of Bolivar, Cartagena, Colombia, in order to recommend good occupational safety and health practices taking into account the improvement in the application of the guidelines given by the OSHA18001 Standard of 2007.
And finally, nowadays, companies are increasingly interested in using artificial intelligencetools to analyze large amounts of data and obtain valuable information for decision making.
One such tool is deep data analytics, which uses machine learning algorithms to analyze largedata sets and discover complex patterns and relationships.
We hope that the content of this issue will be useful to the entire community and that you will let us know what you think, at www.sapientiatechnological.edu.ec.
